The use of distance learning in dentistry has now been established as a valuable tool for continuing dental education, and many practitioners have satisfactorily completed programmes under the scheme. The scheme has gained popularity for being flexible, accessible and suitable.

Registration Fee: £400 per module
This programme meets the GDC verifiable CPD criteria and represents 30 hours of approved CPD per module.

A series of modules designed to develop your knowledge and understanding in a variety of dental disciplines. The aim of the programme is to raise the standard of clinical practice and to improve patient care based on current scientific evidence.

Each module consists of 5 units, 5 home based assessment and a face to face tutorial. The tutorials are normally held in University Dental Hospital and aim to consolidate all module learning. Requirement: This course is suitable for qualified general dental practitioners. Applicants should possess a UK Dentistry Degree or recognised equivalent.
