The Dental Postgraduate Section supports postgraduate education and training for the whole dental workforce (Dentists and Dental Care Professionals) in Wales. This includes dental foundation and dental specialty training for dentists and continuing professional development (CPD) for dentists and DCPs. These activities are underpinned by appropriate educational research and quality assurance to ensure that they are of a high standard to meet the needs of dental professionals in support of their care for their patients.

From this date, any CPD courses that you attend and hold documentary evidence for, which were organised by other providers (i.e. not the Dental Postgraduate Department of Wales Deanery), can be entered yourself by accessing 'My Account' at:
Courses added in this way will be shown on your Data Validation Report in italics and there will be no requirement in future to submit copies of your certificates to this department.
However, CPD courses arranged or approved by this department will continue to be added to your record automatically, provided you have signed the course attendance sheet.
