BSSU support digital scoring at Specialty Training interviews

BSSU recently provided technical support for the Specialty Training and GP Specialty Training interviews.

The initial interviews, organised by Katie McDermott, Specialty Training Manager for Anaesthetics and ICM, were held mid January at the Hilton Hotel in central Cardiff. Gareth Peters and Chris Bourne of BSSU set up and distributed the 50 iPads in preparation for digital scoring the interviews, and provided technical support during the three days. It was the first time ipads had been used in the process.

Gareth said, "Using iPads to carry out the digital scoring was a useful experience and proved highly successful, and the software provided by Qpercom worked well. The staff at the Hilton were also very helpful in the day to day organisation of the sessions."

BSSU also provided technical support for the GP Specialty Training interviews at the Cardiff Marriott Hotel in early February, and the final round of Specialty Training interviews held at the Hilton Hotel at the end of March.
