The Leadership Business is offering a tailored 1 day training course for higher specialist trainees in Wales to cover:
- Practical Leadership Skills
The Leadership Business specialises in designing and delivering bespoke, learning process driven training solutions, and in facilitating professional and personal development for individuals, teams, work groups and organisations. The training is based on the NHS Leadership Framework developed from the Medical Leadership Competencies Framework.
The day is made up of short, interactive sessions covering specific leadership skills for clinicians, supported by practical exercises designed to test out and consolidate your learning.
Course size is limited to 12 places per course.
AIMS
- The aim of this training is to provide trainees with practical leadership skills to make them effective clinical leaders, building on the NHS Leadership Framework, developed from the Medical Leadership Competencies Framework (MLCF).
OUTCOMES
The learner will be able to;
- Differentiate between leadership and management
- Describe exactly what successful leaders actually do
- Develop the skills and personal qualities that leadership demands
- Use project planning tools to deliver outstanding results
- Apply everything that you learn back to your clinical setting immediately
- Know how to inspire, influence and motivate others
- Able to tackle and solve team problems
ABOUT THE TRAINERS
All trainers are fully accredited with their respective professional bodies Licensed users of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step 1 and Step 2 (MBTI) and are Adair International Accredited Leadership Trainers
