The award of around £300 is available for Postgraduate Diploma/MSc students in Medical Education to assist their studies in medical education. Special consideration will be given to those working in the care of the elderly. Application details are available from the Course Co-ordinator, and will be sent to new students in the introduction pack.
The bursary was made available following Professor Hayes' retirement from the School, to assist health professionals to further their studies in medical education. The value of the award is the Postgraduate Diploma fee (1 year part time Dip UK fees), available to UK students only. Application details are available from the Course Co-ordinator, and will be sent to new students in the introduction pack.
The section for Postgraduate Education for General Practice may be able to offer bursaries to any GP on the Medical Performers list in Wales. Contact the Section of Postgraduate Education for General Practice in the Postgraduate School for further information: GP Training Wales
Cwm Taf Health Board will consider a contribution towards covering the fees for Medical Education courses. The Bursary will cover fees only and is available to permanent employees of Cwm Taf Health Board who deliver undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
