Acute Medicine ST3 - Up to 3 posts - Interview date 2nd May 2012

Dermatology ST3 - 1 post  - Interview date 16th May 2012

Geriatrics ST3 - 1 post in North Wales and Up to 5 posts in South Wales - interview date 16th April 2012

Haematology ST3 & LAT(ST3) - Up to 3 posts - Interview date 27th April 2012

Chest Medicine ST3 & LAT(ST3) - Up to 3 posts - Interview date 20th April 2012

Rheumatology ST3 & LAT(ST3) - 2 posts - interview date 18th May 2012

Cardiology ST3 & LAT(ST3) - Up to 10 posts - Interview date 11th April 2012

Diabetes & Endocrinology ST3 & LAT(ST3) - Up to 2 posts - Interview date 17th April 2012

Gastroenterology ST3 - Up to 2 posts - Interview date 24th April 2012

Palliative Medicine ST3 - 1 post - Interview date 15th May 2012

Renal Medicine ST3 & LAT(ST3) - Up to 2 posts - Interview date 3rd May 2012

Immunology ST3 - 1 post - Interview date 26th March 2012

Audiological Medicine ST3 - 1 post - recruitment lead nationally via the London Deanery

G U Medicine ST3 & LAT(ST3) - Up to 3 posts - recruitment via the Royal College - but lead nationally by the Humber Deanery

Clinical Oncology ST3 & LAT(ST3) - Up to 4 posts - recruitment via the KSS Deanery

Clinical Genetics ST3 - 1 post - recruitment lead nationally by the West Midlands Deanery

Medical Oncology LAT(ST3) - 1 post - recruitment lead nationally by the KSS Deanery

Clinical Pharmacology ST3 - 1 post - recruitment lead nationally via the Mersey Deanery

The Wales Postgraduate Dean confirms that all placements have the required Deanery and Royal College approval for training. 

Location

The post holder(s) will be required to work at any of the following Health Boards in Wales:

  • Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board
  • Aneurin Bevan Health Board
  • Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
  • Cardiff and Vale University Health Board
  • Cwm Taf Health Board
  • Hywel Dda Health Board

Commencement Date

August or September 2012 - depending on Specialty - candidates will be notifed at interview

 

Anticipated Duration of the Programme

Four to seven years (subject to satisfactory annual review [ARCP]) depending on specialty

  

Anticipated Outcome

Completion of Higher Training, subject to satisfactory ARCPs
