Porth Dental Teaching Unit is a newly refurbished eight-unit training centre and is the first of its kind in Wales. It is a home to 10 recently qualified dentists, working in fully equipped dental surgeries while completing a two-year Dental Foundation Training Scheme. It provides patients with comprehensive care in all aspects of NHS dentistry, using some of the most advanced technology available. The Unit will be supported by qualified dental nurses, trainee dental nurses, receptionists and central decontamination sterilising assistants.
