Cardiff University and NHS Wales hospital libraries work together in the AWHILES partnership which underpins the health library service in NHS Wales.

The Deanery provides financial contributions for the libraries, covering the costs ofstaffing, facilities, book and journal collections, JANET (Joint Academic Network) connectivity, the All-Wales Voyager library management system, and the document supply service.The Deanery also co-ordinates the provision of support and communication for library staff to ensure that they receive appropriate professional development, policy advice and a two-way dialogue with the Deanery.
