BiographyAfter gaining a PhD in 1988, I taught for a year before taking up a research post at the School of Education, University of Birmingham in 1990. I was promoted to Reader in Medical and Dental Education in 2005 and served as co-director of Research for three years from October 2005. I took up my current post as Professor and Director of the Cardiff Unit for Research and Evaluation in Medical and Dental Education (CUREMeDE) in 2009. My contribution to teaching has taken the form of MPhil/PhD supervision (four graduating with PhDs in 2008) and research methods training. Qualifications: BA, PGCE, PhD Publications
