The central recruitment process will allocate you, if appropriate to a Welsh DF scheme. All schemes in Wales hold a Meet the Trainer event in order to establish which individual practice an applicant will be allocated to.
The process involves all applicants meeting all trainers at a designated Meet The Trainer event. Each trainer will have 15 minutes to promote their practice to the applicant, and the applicant can consider if the practice is suitable as their DF placement. Information on each training practice will be made available to help describe the practice and the local area.
Following the individual meetings, all applicants will rank all trainers in order of preference and the trainers will do the same. A matching system will then take account of the trainer and applicant preferences and match the applicant to a training practice.
