
You can make a booking request by either completing the forms on this page, or by contacting us and requesting a form.
All requests for room bookings must be made on the booking form. A booking will not be confirmed in WIMAT's diary until a completed form is received.

The following facilities are available:
An additional charge of £250 per day for use of the live audio-visual connection to any of the 11 operating theatres in UHW to cover laparoscopic and open surgery.

Ten laparoscopic training stations, easily modifiable to undertake many aspects of medical training
£175 per day
There is a large seminar room accommodating up to 25 delegates, with LCD projector, overhead projector, TV, Screen, Dry Wipe Board and Flipchart.
The unit also has two smaller "breakout" rooms.
£100 per day
This room is in Unit 14 and can accommodate up to eight people for either meetings or interviews and is equipped with LCD projection, screen, whiteboard and flipchart and telephone.
Please note that if rooms are hired after-hours (before 8.30am or after 4.30pm Monday to Friday) an additional £35 per hour will be charged. Facilities may be available on weekends on request and subject to availability. There will be a surcharge for this.
Tea/Coffee & biscuits £4.00 per delegate per day.
Information on catering for lunches can be provided by WIMAT on request.

WIMAT can arrange some parking at the Cardiff Medicentre, but this must be booked prior to the event with WIMAT. This is only for faculty and/or trade stands and only when available and is not assured. We unfortunately do not have enough space to provide parking for delegates or other parties participating at the booked event.
All rooms must be left in the same condition as found at the start of the meeting/ course/training session.
Any damage to fixtures, fittings or instruments should be reported to WIMAT immediately and must be paid for.
It is recommended that you arrive in WIMAT in time to ensure the meeting room(s) is set up for your requirements.
Mailing, photocopying and fax facilities are available at WIMAT and will be charged appropriately.
The return of medical/surgical equipment and the supply and preparation of animal tissue will be charged appropriately.
All cancellations should be made in writing to WIMAT.
If a cancellation is made four weeks before the booking date, a fee of 25% (of the total room hire) will be charged, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged after this time.
Multi-storey car parking is available to visitors and delegates, situated adjacent to the Medicentre building.
