  • making job applications

You may also wish to visit th UK NHS Medical Careers website and view the section “Getting into Training” which gives helpful information on all these aspects of application and selection.

Finding Opportunities

The most likely website you will visit to find jobs are NHS Jobs, BMJ Careers, UK MMC and, for posts in Wales:The Smart Choice. Interviews and Assessment Centres

If you have been shortlisted for Specialty Training interview, the next step is to reinforce your message during the face-to-face selection stage.. Many doctors have not had a formal interview since applying for medical school but specialty interviews involve several short interviews or practical assessements. You’ll need to be well organized, have all your documents to hand and try not to be unsettled by the environment and the process.
